Parks and
reserves are a vital community resource and need to be revitalised
and redeveloped as they succumb to pressures of overuse,
conflicting needs and management issues. ACLA take a pro-active
role to analyse existing sites and consult with community groups to
establish key areas of concern and prioritised objectives for open
space enhancement. We advocate a process, which carefully and
systematically looks at all the issues, which results in a solution
governed by the financial, environmental, social, and asset
improvement framework of Councils.
